Woah!! school here is completley different from what i'm used to back home. I've changed my subjects a little bit so that i can take social sycology which has to be the most exciting subject. At least now i've worked out how to get into my locker haha and i'm not constantly asking people what class is where. I'm taking ceramics, art, english, publications, american studies and creative writing. English is nothing like it is back in new zealand. The text books are filled with shakespear language!! It's still snowing, I'm starting to really get used to it now. School seems alot more laid back here with the work load, i don't think i can really see myself struggling too much this year with my school subjects. I went to a hibachi Jap restaurant Friday night with my american family. I was convinced into getting a photo with the cook while wearing his hat, his name is Tony... yes "Tony", i think we may have expected something a bit more Japanese possibly haha. Well anyway i had a great time and got to try this AMAZING food. My host sister and i got these awesome drinks called "marble pops". It's like a fizzy drink with a marble inside the cup that you really can't get out, it's purposely stuck in there. (my souvenir)
